Did a model shoot at Preston Photographic Society today. Couple of lights, black background and a model. Oh and my Pentax 67. If you’re going to the effort of faffing with lights ect. then might as well bring out the big guns. Check them out on the Google+ page.
Arc Studios help a model shoot night on Monday that was only for film cameras. This was too good an opportunity to miss so I brought my huge 8×10 camera with me.
A most fortuitous day at Ribblehead Viaduct with Preston Photographic Society today.
I’d just got hold of some Kentmere 400 film and thought I’d give it a try especially with pushing it to ISO 1600. I haven’t done a gig in a while so it seemed a good opportunity. This time I had the Nikon FM with F/1.4 lenses at my disposal. Unfortunately the day before my 50mm F/1.4 broke and was stuck at F/1.4. I decided to use my 85mm F/1.4 instead so I could use some flash as well.
Me and a college from the Preston Photographic Society went to the lakes today. Starting in the Langdale Valley for most of the trip I took my Pentax 67 and my Nikon FM. In the Nikon I was trying out some Kentmere 100 B&W film. Much cheaper than the Ilford branded stuff. Results were OK but not special.
