I really do like this picture and I can see it’s artistic merit. If I was given it and someone else offered just £100 for it I would say no ($4.3m though . The thing is to me it’s nothing extraordinary. I’ve seen thousands of similar pictures that no one would even buy yet this one sells for millions. Just shows it really is eye of the beholder. All I can do is keep snapping and fingers crossed. Just one of the many quirks of the art world I suspect.
