Cities are always full of junk that ruins pictures. The worse culprits are cars and (oddly enough) trees. If these two things weren’t around then you could almost point your camera anywhere and get something. Instead I’ve gone for the silhouette and fancy sky.
After Simon left Population Four the future seemed very uncertain. All the band members seemed so close it was impossible to imagine anyone else filling the drum stool. As of today that uncertainty has ended for the worse with the announcement that Population Four is to disband. I’ve been photographing them for years but now it’ll be no more. This is another blow for Preston after last month with March and Stormcorporation also calling it a day.

Today was Population Four’s last gig with their drummer Simon played at Rampage at Roper Hall in Preston. Population Four has been renowned all around Preston and one the acts most likely to break through and circumstances have come in their way. We shall see what the future holds.
Today the Lancashire Market came to town and I had some expired Fuji Pro-H 400 donated for free to burn. Whenever I go there there’s always a bird of prey sanctuary there.
